Terms of Use and Registration

Rules for using the site and registering for IRIA SUMMIT® events · Last updated: 6 October 2026 · Informative translation: in case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

1. About these terms

These terms govern the use of the iriasummit.tech site and registrations for IRIA SUMMIT® events sold through it. By registering, you declare that you have read and accept these terms.

Events are organised by CylinderMargin Lda. or by authorised operators of the IRIA SUMMIT® network, identified on each event's page.

2. Registration and payment

3. Cancellation and refund

4. Changes to the event

The organisers may change speakers, times or the programme for justified reasons, keeping the event's theme and quality. If the organisers cancel the event, we refund the amount paid in full or offer registration for a new date, at your choice.

5. Access and recordings

6. Event magazine and IRIA SUMMIT Award

Every IRIA SUMMIT® event produces an event magazine designed for its sector. The magazine is delivered as a PDF to all registrants and, in editions with sector sponsorship, is also printed and sent to the address given at registration. The address is used only for this delivery.

The magazine may publish the projects submitted to the sector's IRIA SUMMIT Award. Anyone submitting content (startups, projects, speakers or partners) authorises its publication, in digital and print formats, by IRIA SUMMIT® and the partner publisher, and should send only information that can be disclosed.

7. Nature of the content

IRIA SUMMIT® events are educational and for professional development. They do not constitute individual medical, psychological, legal or financial care, nor do they replace assessment by a qualified professional. Certificates confirm participation and do not confer professional qualification.

8. Intellectual property

IRIA SUMMIT® is a trademark registered in the European Union (EUIPO no. 019347241). The brand, event templates, texts, editor and design of this site are protected. Their use by operators requires authorisation and a contract with CylinderMargin Lda.

9. Event editor

The editor is available to authorised operators. AI-generated texts are suggestions and must be reviewed by the operator, who is responsible for the content they publish.

10. Liability

The organisers are not responsible for failures in the participant's internet connection or for decisions taken on the basis of the content presented.

11. Applicable law

Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights of the country of residence, including the Consumer Protection Code in Brazil. Consumers in Portugal may use alternative dispute resolution bodies and the Electronic Complaints Book.
